Your Details

When you join PhotoGalaxy, the following details become publicly visible:

• - Name (use an alias if want to hide your real name)

You can choose to hide the following details:

• - Age
• - Location (Country)

We will never make the following details available to the public:

• - Email Address

All information you provide relating to your photographs will be visible to the public. Your photographer’s profile is also publicly viewable.

Password

Your password is encrypted which makes it impossible for anyone (including PhotoGalaxy staff) to read.

Community

If you contribute to our community then additional information about you may become public. This includes information you provide about yourself in the forum or in any articles you write and information you enter about a website that you add to our site directory.

Image Rating

We record all ratings that you assign to images in the galleries. This is to prevent multiple votes. We will never make the ratings you assign to specific images publicly visible.

Messages

Messages that are sent to PhotoGalaxy through the contact form, to members through the comment forms or to third parties through the e-card function are private and only viewable by the specified recipient(s).

Webmasters

If you purchase a PhotoGalaxy website then your privacy continues to be subject to the above policy. Any information you enter about yourself in custom pages becomes public.

Security

PhotoGalaxy has security measures in place to ensure that your private details and password are not accessible.

Tracking

We have various tracking procedures in place to monitor site demographics and to help diagnose problems. This may include setting Cookies and logging your IP address. This data is anonymous and is only used for analysis. We will not make it publicly available.
